2017 was quite a ride! There were many weddings and events booked; which made it Let’s Reminisce Photography’s busiest year to date. I worked with fabulous new vendors and got to reconnect with amazing vendors that I’ve worked with in the past. I attended the Canada Photo Convention in Vancouver, where I sharpened my skills through spending time in many sessions with my fellow photography peers. I also developed new friendships and even sampled some awesome Poke Bowls. I have watched my boys grow and change while treasuring many family moments along the way. A year wouldn’t be complete without some pricey vet bills due to our curious and clumsy animals.
After all is said and done between the family, newborn, maternity, events and weddings; over 20,000 images were delivered to clients in 2017. Not all photos are epic ‘show-stopper’ shots. Lots were pictures of intimate details that helped make the venue or room come together in a more personal way. Many shots were of old friends meeting again after a long while or other shots were, which are my personal favourites, pictures that capture just really great moments. The best part about the ‘moments’ are that they are all unique because they come from everyone’s different chemistry. From secret hand shakes, the reaction from an inside joke, a timeless family tradition, or to events that pay tribute to supporting our military; I got the honour of bearing witness to some really meaningful relationships and experiences. I had a blast in 2017 and can’t wait to work with more couples, families (furry friends included), newborns, and new friends in 2018!
