A great event for a great cause! On May 4th animal lovers got together for a silent auction held at Average Joe’s to raise money for the Duke and Duchess Animal Rescue Society. This organization is a volunteer operated non-profit charity which was created to rescue abandoned, homeless and abused dogs.
With lots of great donations from local business, volunteers, and dog lovers and through the silent auction, DDARS was able to raise over $5000. All funds raised by the rescue go to the care, spay/neutering and veterinary treatment of animals in foster care.
